First of all, you have to know that Windows 7 Phone Series is just a prototype. Even though is just a prototype, the Engadget editors managed to create a video review of it. It seems like Microsoft has really done it this time. Windows 7 Phone is expecting to be the main rival of the famous Apple Iphone. So let’s see what makes Windows 7 Phone that special and why you should get one.
Windows Phone 7 short story
The Windows 7 Phone is based on a previous phone creation of Microsoft. To be more exact it is called Windows Mobile Phone Operating systems. Like the Zune, Windows 7 Phone is running on Windows CE 6 Kernell.
This new phone is the only one which is currently using the CE 6 unlike all other mobile phones by Microsoft which are running on CE 5. The official announcement of CE 6 was made by Microsoft at the Mobile World Congress 2010 in Barcelona.

It seems like Microsoft is the one that dictates what type of software get’s into your phone so I guess this is a week point. The rest of it’s hardware is pretty cool thought.

I'm a huge fan of Apple's Iphone but I really think that Windows Phone 7 will represent a big challenge for it.
