Saturday, 27 March at 8:30 is the starting of Earth Hour 2010. The Earth Hour program started in 2007 in Sydney, Australia as a sign of appreciation for environment and nature and also for us to safe the resources of the Earth and also to prevent the Global Warming posibility, which is the most catastrophyc thing that may happend in our generation. Next year, the second year of Earth Hour event, in 2008 more than 400 of biggest cities of the planet decided to join the Earth Hour event so that – Rome, Paris, Hong Kong, Rio de Janeiro, New York, Moscow and other cities turned the light off.

In 2009, more than 4000 important cities of the world did the same. Now is the time for you to turn off the lights just for an hour as a sign of appreciation for the Planet Earth. [source: Labnol]
